At least you’re NotHungover.

NotHangover One Show Young Ones 2024 Brief

Single-Minded Proposition: Drink now, no regrets tomorrow

Objective: Help NotCo launch NotHangover, a new probiotic shot which helps mitigate the effects of alcohol the day after (aka hangover).

Insight: Drinking leads to regretful actions and a heinous hangover.

Big Idea: We get rid of that terrible hangover, but you can’t get rid of what you did.

Execution: Show how you can erase bad feelings, but not bad actions, by encouraging bar-goers and friends alike to challenge each other to dares in exchange for discounted NotHangover probiotic shots.

Case Study

During our college portfolio review, a very well known creative asked, “Did your FRIEND record this VO?”, as opposed to a professional voice over recording of course.

Um, no. My COPYWRITER’S FRIEND did. What am I made of money?

Interactive Dare App

Players can add their friends from the app, or invite their contacts.

Once added, players can send different dares to their friends to complete in exchange for points.

The higher the risk, the higher the reward.

When receiving a dare, players can choose to accept the challenge, or request something a bit more in their comfort zone.

Players then record their dare in-app, and earn points for completing the challenge.

After, players can send dares to their friends, or request a new one to earn more points.

Players can watch their friends rise and fall with the Leaderboard.

Throughout the challenge, friends can complete dares, but can’t see the weekend damage done until Sunday morning.

Sunday morning, the Dare Gallery is open for reminiscing on the weekend’s biggest triumphs (or regrets).

Friends can like, comment, and share dares to other apps and friends.
